Friday night was Bunco Night at Mohave Community College. What a blast!
That’s Teri and Sheila battling it out for second place in the video above. Sheila pulled it off, but turned around and donated her prize money back to Operation Desert Stage. Cool!
Here’s a shot of people arriving, plus Ed looking sharp with his “If I only had Stage” tee. For more photos check out the slide show from Bunco on Flickr.
We really had a great time and moved a few steps closer to our goal. We really appreciate everyone’s support.
Check back here soon for details on her next fundraiser.

Great news! We took a big step forward this week thanks to Los Matadores de Bullhead City.
Los Matadores joins Mohave Community College Foundation as the second “Director” level sponsor of the project.
A special thank you to Mayor Jack Hakim who met with Los Matadores this week to present the project and answer questions.
We couldn’t be happier with the tremendous support the community has shown for this important project. Thank you!
We need your help, too! Please read about sponsorship opportunities or consider supporting the project now through PayPal.

WELCOME to the official website for Operation: Desert Stage
Let us tell you a little about the program and where it originates:
Each year the Colorado River Women’s Council sponsors a 9 month program which requires its participants to attended one class a month that takes them on a journey to learn about the many facets of our community.
Participants include professionals from locals businesses, government, schools, non-profit organizations, and retired members of the community.
During this program, its members develop and implement a class project to help benefit the community. Hence, Operation: Desert Stage
The class of 2009 Colorado River Leadership has chosen Operation: Desert Stage as their class project. We’re raising money to purchase a community mobile stage. The stage will be available for use by schools, community organizations, the City of Bullhead City, and many other entities for any type of special event.
We need YOUR help. We need YOUR commitment to your community!
The sponsorship program is a chance for individuals, locals businesses, and organizations to participate in the purchase of our community mobile stage.
No Donation Is Too Small! However, we do offer advertisement packages for businesses and organizations. CRWC is Tax Exempt Organization 501(c )(3)
On behalf of the Class of 2009 Colorado River Leadership we THANK YOU for your donation!
